Election Results for the 2023-26 GOCC Board of Directors
The election results are in. A huge thank you to the election committee consisting of Dave Andrijowych, Erik Murray, Mary Jo Aichele, Eric Clevenger, and Bryan Wells.
The 2023-26 GOCC Officers are as follows:
President – Bob Kilner
Vice President – Jeremy Augenstein
Treasurer – Patti Murray
Documentarian – Erik Murray
Editor – Kaylee Parkos
Immediate Past President – Mary Jo Aichele (automatic position)
The positions of secretary and membership director still need to be filled. Any member in good standing of at least 1 year is eligible to be appointed to the position. Section 3.09 Duties of Secretary
The Secretary shall:
- Certify and keep at the principal office of the corporation the original, or a copy, of these bylaws as amended or otherwise altered to date;
- Keep at the principal office of the corporation or at such other place as the board may determine, an archive of minutes of all meetings, recording the time and place, whether regular or special, how called, how notice thereof was given, the names of those present or represented at the meeting, and the proceedings thereof;
- Ensure that the minutes of meetings and any supporting documents shall be recorded by the later of the next meeting or sixty (60) days after the date of the preceding meeting;
- See that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of these bylaws or as required by law;
- Maintain the corporation’s documents in accordance with the document retention and destruction policy;
- In general, perform all duties incident to the office of Secretary and such other duties as may be required by law, by the articles of incorporation, by these bylaws, or which may be assigned to him or her from time to time by the board.
Section 3.11 Duties of Membership Director
The Membership Director shall:
- Receive and process membership applications and renewals and promptly forward any dues received to the Treasurer;
- Ensure members are notified of upcoming membership renewals and events;
- Maintain a membership database containing the name, address and other information deemed important for each member. In the event membership has been terminated, record such fact in the membership database with the date on which membership ceased;
- Perform other such duties as may be prescribed by law, by the articles of incorporation, by these bylaws, or which may be assigned to him or her from time to time by the board.
